Yes, True. My Daughter is my Greatest Gift. My Angel, My Proud, My Strength..

Here is my Louisa. My last edition. My 3rd born. She was born on November 3rd, 2008 at Pondok Indah Hospital. 3 years appart from her sister. She weighs 3400 gram and 49 cm long.

Her full name is Louisa Charlotte Putri Wijaya. Also like her sister’s name, it was given by both of her Grand Mothers. Louisa Charlotte from My Mother, and Putri from my Mother In Law. Wijaya is her father’s name.

Louisa was always her sister’s copycat. She always wanted to do everything like her sister. Not because she wanted to compite her, but mostly because she wanted to be a part of Nicolle’s activity.

So when Nicolle was doing Ballet, she wanted Ballet too..

She was active in Marching Band from Kindergarten to Elementary. This is the only school activities she didn’t copycat her sister.

In 4th Grade, she decided to start Gymnastic like her Sister

And just like her sister, she enrolled for Taekwondo at the same time too..

She is my Miss Singing, Miss Happy girl, Miss Active girl turning 10 soon.

Karel Hamšik (I)

Karel Hamsik (I) was my Great Grand Father from my Mother’s Maternal side. Son of Jiři Hamšik (I) & Terezia Kovarová. Later married to Anna Bodesinská , and had 4 children :

Karel Hamšik (II). Later married Marie and had 2 children , Pavel Hamšik & Hana Hamšiková. I assume they were born around 1950s. I will write about them in other Post.
Věra Hamšiková. Born on June 23rd, 1918 in Prague. She was my Grand Mother. The only Grand Mother i met, even only a couple times. She was married to Emil Gross (II). I will write more about her in other Post.
František Hamšik. Married to Anezka and had 2 daughters, Věra Hamšiková & Alena Hamšiková.
Hugo Hamšik. Later married to Josefa and had 2 sons, Karel Hamšik (III) & Jiři Hamšik (II).

Jiři Hamšik (I)

Jiři Hamšik, was my 2X Great Grand Father. I didn’t research his family line yet, as i’m still working on my Mother’s Paternal side. But later i will update if i find some facts or records about his parents.

Jiri Hamsik was married to Terezia Kovarová and had a Son named Karel Hamšik (I). He was my Great Grand Father according to my Grand Mother Věra Hamšiková‘s Birth Certificate.

Other information i got from Věra Hamšiková’s Birth Certificate is that on 1918, his Occupation was Rolnik at Vizovicich č. 116

Emil Gross (II)

This handsome man is Emil Gross (II). He was my Grand Father i never got a chance to meet. Son of Emil Gross (I) & Marie Rožumberská.

Emil Gross (II) was born in Prague on February 10th, 1903 as a 3rd child of 4. In his young age, he used to live in Nikolajka Street, Prague. My Mother gave me a lot of his father’s Post Cards from his best friend , addressed to Nikolajka Street. This is one of those Post Cards :

As i never got a chance to meet him, his Pictures and those Post Cards are a special way i can feel close to him. I cherished them so much. And some times i think, how nice it is that his descendants can actually hold his Post Cards. What will our descendants keep of us in this digital era ?

Emil Gross (II) was married to Věra Hamšiková on December 20th, 1946. My Mother gave me her parents Marriage Certificate :

Emil Gross (II) was 48 years old when his only daughter was born on January 6th, 1951. She is my Mother, Věra Grossová. I’m planning to ask my Mother to tell me her memories about her father. And i will update this page later.

My Grand Father passed away on March 9th, 1964. Here are his Death Records :

He was buried at Malvazinky Cemetery, Praha.

Ebr – My Great Uncle in Law’s Family Surname
Hahn – My 3X Great Uncle in Law’s Family Surname
Goppert – My 3X Great Grand Mother’s Family Surname

I might write some more Surnames after i dig deeper into my Family History. But so far these are the Surnames from those records i found.

I only got the chance to meet my Grand Mother, Vera Grossová (born Hamšiková). And she passed away when i was 8 years old. Not so many special memories shred, since she lived in Czech, and i lived in Indonesia. But having some pictures with her give me a warm feeling inside.
